HOW IT WORKS

Most sunlight that reaches the Earth's surface is in the visible to near-infrared spectrum. At night, in the absence of direct sunlight, energy primarily comes from infrared radiation.

Innovative Absolute Electrified Glass utilizes multijunction technology, combining materials of varying bandgaps to capture different portions of the solar spectrum—ranging from ultraviolet (UV) to visible light to infrared.*

*High-bandgap materials capture high-energy UV photons, while lower-bandgap materials absorb lower-energy photons from visible to infrared light.
